The lone descent into action adventure (with a half-hearted attempt at stealth) gaming territory for a little-known German developer, K. Hawk: Survival Instinct is an early 2000s PC title with bigger aspirations than the development team was ultimately able to achieve, netting the game mixed reviews upon release and as a result it has mostly been forgotten.

Debug Level

Quite possibly one of the easiest debug levels to access out there, one must simply start up a new game, then during the introduction cutscene (which acts as its own level), type in the following cheat to skip a level:

3mulo

Upon typing this cheat, you're sent to a debug level that was used for testing items, movement, combat and rudimentary stealth mechanics. Repeating the level skip cheat does not take you to the first level of the game. It instead brings up a number of in-engine message boxes asking for missing assets (not shown below). This could imply that there was more debug levels at one point in the game's development, but this can't be confirmed.

Unused Stone

In the Debug level, a Stone item can be picked up and thrown to distract the enemy present. The Stone doesn't work properly, when the enemy hears the rock, they start moving towards Hawk instead of towards the stone.
