Koruru Gurugurugrugurugur... I think the Penguin panda just vomited.

A pet simulation for a strange panda-like creature called Guru and a simple monster battling game. There are also a few minigames. This game was only released as a Nintendo Power/GB Memory cartridge download and is discontinued, making it quite rare.

Default Team

If the player jumps straight into a battle from a blank save file without obtaining a Koguru (monster), they will be given one Chibiguru (monster 101/the last monster by index number) by default. This can be replicated with code 010297D1 to battle Gurumi without obtaining the normal starting monster.

Push Start Graphic

This "Push Start" graphic is stored on the title screen, but seems to be unused. Pressing Start still loads the option (つづきから continue or はじめから new game) in addition to A-Button.

ASCII Art

Located at 0x0567E0, directly above the Super Game Boy INIT DATA_SND commands, is some cute ASCII art left by one of the developers.

Other Unused Text

Hmmm...
To do:
Add replication method and offset.

ぼく (PLAYER)さんのことわすれないよ.... : "I will never forget you, player...."

It appears in the following screen.

It was probably intended to be used after starting a new game (automatically erasing the old one).

Sound Test

The method to unlock the sound test is not known, but code 010A97D1 allows the player to access it from the world map, regardless. It features some cute/quirky art of the characters as well as two Eastern monuments. The screens automatically change with a random color scheme (red, pink, blue, or black).
