No need to rail on this tile!
Unused tiles found in the graphics for Guts Man's stage. Vertical versions of the lift rails either used for the lifts to ride along, or to hold up the horizontal rails.

Fire Man

Too hot for Fire Man's stage? Now THAT'S hot!
Unused tiles found in the graphics for Fire Man's stage. A giant fireball, presumably some sort of insta-kill hazard.

Block IDs $6D, $6E, $6F, are some strange looking blocks. Likely leftovers from an early version of the stage, considering the final graphics do not fit them at all.

Bomb Man

MM1 - Bomb Man (Unused Block1).png

Block ID $21, background block that is unused, strangely there is a small dark blue block next to the orange background bars.

MM1 - Bombman (Unused Block2).png

Block ID $25, an unused block of a small bar platform, strangely it is using the background palette which makes it orange.

MM1 - Bombman (Unused Block3).png

Block ID $4C, an unused wall block, curiously it has a black background which indicates that it may have been made for the waiting room or at some point in the development in a certain part of the stage it would have a black background beyond the waiting room.

MM1 - Bombman (Unused Block4).png

Block ID $79, a bar platform on a black background that is unused on the stage.

MM1 - Bombman (Unused Block5).png

Block ID $7A, a bar platform that connects to the floor platforms on a black background that is unused on stage.

Fire Man

MM1 - Fire Man (Unused Block3).png

Block ID $32, an unused block of Fire Storm Shooter conductors, curiously it uses a lava palette, which indicates that they already had a different palette at some point, in addition it has part of the background, only the block ID $4F has part of the background because it is close to the stairs where the Fire Storm Shooter does not fall.

MM1 - Fire Man (Unused Block6).png

Block ID $5B, it is an unused wall block.

Elec Man

MM1 - Elec Man (Unused Block).png

Block ID $21, an unused platform block on the stage, curiously to a power conductor block in the background that uses the same palette as the background and that also has no collision, possibly its graphics ended up replacing a background that is no longer used in the stage.

Guts Man

MM1 - Guts Man (Unused Block1).png MM1 - Guts Man (Unused Block2).png MM1 - Guts Man (Unused Block4).png MM1 - Guts Man (Unused Block5).png

Block IDs $07, $09, $11 and $12 are vertical versions of the platform rails from the start of the stage. They have a grey palette applied, so either the rails were originally grey, or the stage's palettes were rearranged at some point in development.

MM1 - Guts Man (Unused Block3).png

Block ID $0E is a block of rails that connect between the vertical and horizontal ones.

MM1 - Guts Man (Unused Block6).png

Block ID $14, is an unused horizontal rail, which uses the gray palette.

Wily Stage 1

MM1 - Wily Stage 1 (Unused Block1).png

Block ID $83, is a strange block that uses the teleporter graphics, it has no collision which indicates that it may be leftovers from some unused background.

Metal Man Unused Block 46.png

Block ID $B0, is a completely black block, but when checking the collision we can see that it has a collision at the bottom.

MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 1.png

Block ID $B1, is just a thorn in the black background.

Metal Man Unused Block 46.png

Block ID $B2, to a completely black block, but when checking the collision we can see that it has a collision at the top.

MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 2.png MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 3.png MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 4.png MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 5.png MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 6.png MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 7.png

Block IDs $B3, $B4, $B5, $B6, $B7 and $B8, some platforms on a black background that is unused, strangely the platforms ID $B7 and $B8 use part of the graphics of the metal bar from the fight against the Wily Machine, but they do not have collision which indicates that these metal bars at some point in the development were part of some discarded background.

MM1 - Wily Stage 1 (Unused Block2).png MM1 - Wily Stage 1 Unused Block 8.png

Block IDs $B9, $BB, is two strange blocks that have collision, which indicates that they are leftover platforms from an early version of the stage.

Wily Stage 3

MM1 - Wily Stage 3 (Unused Block1).png

Block ID $9E, it is a block made of metal tiles that is unused in the stage, interestingly there is something similar in Wily Stage 4 that is used as a boss door.

MM1 - Wily Stage 3 (Unused Block2).png MM1 - Wily Stage 3 (Unused Block3).png

Block IDs $A8 and $A9, are some small blocks of unknown purpose that are unused in the stage.
