Michigan: Report from Hell is an odd survival horror game in which there is no direct gameplay, instead being played almost entirely through the viewfinder of a camera. This lack of direct gameplay resulted in the game being denied a North American publisher by Sony.

Regional Differences

Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

Special Stage with Yinling

The Japanese version has a special stage starring Yinling, a real-life model actress. All references to Yinling were completely removed in the PAL version.

Other Changes

  • The PAL version removed the mist effect when enemies are present.
  • Different music is used during battles and events.
  • The secret collectable videotapes that show interesting and mysterious scenes are broken on the PAL version. Instead, all attempts to access it just redirect to the strip club.
