You can enter the following in the name entry screen to trigger various debug related features:
- Debug Menu: - でばっぐしなくちゃね ("Gotta debug")
- Sound and Visual Test: でもんすとれえしょん ("Demonstration")
Additionally, there is a Test Pattern Screen that can be viewed at the PC Engine CD boot screen by holding I + II and pressing Run.
