Unused Graphics

Pizza Delivery Boy

Pizza Pop boy pose.png
Some weird pose. It's hard to tell what exactly is this supposed to be.

Pizza Pop boy ducking.png
Another weird pose. Possibly an alternate ducking sprite.

Pizza Pop boy raised hands.png
Pizza boy falling with his hands raised.

Pizza Pop boy rotated.png
Two rotated sprites.

Pizza Pop boy squatting.gif
Pizza boy squatting or pointing at something.

Enemies

Pizza Pop old man looking up.png
A sprite of an old man from the third and fourth stages looking up.

Pizza Pop ghost with a hat.png
A smaller version of the ghosts from the fifth stage with a hat.

Pizza Pop hang glider.png
An unused hang glider enemy.

Pizza Pop dog.png
An unused dog enemy. There are dogs in the game, but this one looks different.

Other

Pizza Pop witch.png
A witch who makes an appearance as one of the customers. Seems like she was supposed to appear somewhere other than the cutscenes.

Pizza Pop unused bg characters.png
Three unused background characters. The third one is missing his legs for some reason.

Unused Levels

To see the following levels, change ROM address 0x1CDAF to the desired value and start a new game. Note that you will also probably want to freeze RAM address $684 so the player character doesn't fall off the screen and die.

Level 08

PizzaPop-Level08.png

An ocean-themed level. The layout doesn't seem to exist anymore, but there is enemy and object data, consisting of jumping fish and unused pink rafts that move left and right, which the player can stand on.

Some of the background tiles can be seen in a prerelease screenshot.

Level 09

PizzaPop-Level09.png
Hmmm...
To do:
Figure out if this can be loaded as a proper jetski level so the player doesn't immediately fall and die.

A beach-themed jetski level, similar in appearance to the boss area of stage 6. Layout and object data seems to be intact, including ramps, jumping fish, and powerups.

Level 0E

PizzaPop-Level0E.png
PizzaPop-HauntedHouseTiles1.png

A vertical haunted house-themed level. The layout, tileset, and most of the graphics no longer exist, but enemy data is present, including ghosts and flashing green pumpkins. Additionally, there is unique code in place that plays a sound and swaps out the upper half of the background graphics on a fixed timer; judging from the lone segment of graphics that still exist (right), it seems the level would have had trap doors that open and close on a timer.

Unused Music

Track #6 of the NSF file is not heard anywhere in the game. It was possibly intended to be used as a stage theme, as the only stages that share music in the final game are Stage 1 and Stage 2.
