The game started development back in 2015, on the developer's YouTube Account. There is a bunch of videos of the game in early states of development.

Early Gameplay Videos
While working on the game, the developers posted videos of early gameplay of the game. Some of them feature earlier builds.
Cruz Brothers GreenLight Campaign Build
In July 3, 2016 the developers posted gameplay of a earlier build of the game for Steam Greenlight.
It has some notable differences:
- The title screen looks different.
- The life bar looks very early looking, without a number counter.
- The fighter selection screen looks very different, using character models instead of character selection artwork like in the final game, as well as displaying the character stats which don't appear in the final build.
- Only 9 characters are playable in this build.
- Some characters have earlier designs.
- The effects in the game look very early looking.
March 7, 2017 Build
In March 7, 2017 the developers posted gameplay from a more updated build of the game. Although still a earlier build, this one had many changes to it.
It has some notable differences:
- Tray Sorrow had a earlier looking design.
- Some sound effects are different.
- The lighting looked early, and had issues casting the model.
June 26, 2017 Build
In June 26, 2017 the developers posted gameplay from a more updated build of the game. This one almost looks exactly like the final build of the game, but with some notable differences.
It has some notable differences:
- The title screen originally allowed you to customize the training center.
- The character portraits are renders instead of artwork in the final game.
- The rewards to the fights originally gave you lots of XP.
- Some cutscene audio is different, and some audio is differently timed as well.
- The announcer sounds different.
