Prerelease:Kuon

TGS2003 Build

A build of Kuon was shown at Tokyo Game Show 2003, and stills from that build were given to the press. These stills show quite a few differences. Only Utsuki in the manor was shown in the stills, and it is unknown what else, if anything, was made by this time.

• Utsuki's model is in a much earlier stage.
• Many camera angles are wildly different.
• The lighting appears to be very basic compared to the final build.
• 3 cards are equippable, using the cross, triangle, and square, rather than just triangle and square.
• The font for the number of cards equipped is a much more generic, and it in general looks unpolished.
• The Sutegumo is MUCH larger in this build.
• A drape is present in this room outside Ayako's room that isn't in the final.

Unknown build 1

In this build, the font for the number of cards equipped is very different from the final or the previous build. It is a bit hard to see in the screenshot, but the numbers are much more large and generic compared to the final. When something startles the player, resulting in vertigo, the screen doesn't invert the colors like in the final build.

Unknown build 2

In this likely late build, the only known difference is the important text on-screen is blue rather than yellow.
