Famitsu
A preview of the game from Famitsu July/September 1990.
- The preview mentions another transformation for Rush: Drill Rush. The text states that "Rush Drill allows Rockman to advance through the ground by digging a hole." It's possible that in the places where Break Man shows up to blow up the ground, Rockman would have had to use Drill Rush instead.
- The snake robot looks different than in the final version.
- There are screenshots of early versions of Top Man's stage and Gemini Man's stage with different backgrounds.
