Prerelease:Rat Attack (PlayStation)
This page details prerelease information and/or media for Rat Attack (PlayStation).
Rat Attack had a rather long development time, and during that time a lot of things were changed - particularly the levels.

To do: Maybe add the Flash animations here too? They probably don't count, but being they promoted the game they're probably worth adding. |
The game's official website was operational for a fairly long time. It included a developer's diary, and several screenshots pertaining to early builds. It's now defunct, but can be viewed here.
Screenshots
The HUD in these images has several differences:
- HUD is at the top rather than below.
- HUD is solid rather than faded.
- Possibly a less bold font for the score?
Named haunted2. Possibly an early version of The Pit.
Named banubis. No level like it exists in the final, though it bears a mild resemblance to Ghostly Graveyard.
Named neweffect. Likely an early Museum level, perhaps before they split them into Museum and Art Gallery.
Named nicecarpet. No level like it exists in the final.

Named swipe. An early Art Gallery level, probably a very early version of Renaissance Nuisance. Notice how there are no more mice to be captured, yet there's no timer to exit the level.
Named aug1b. A small screenshot of Muffy Dupont in an unknown level.
Robinson's Stats
Julius was given stats on the old website. It could be a coincidence, but the final game has leftover text suggesting that Julius was once a playable character. His stats would make him the weakest character in the game.
