  • In the first screenshot, the score represents zero with one "0", while the final uses nothing.
  • The clocks at the top suggest an early mechanic for the game. Rather than collecting Z's to stay in the game, you may have had to find a page in a fixed amount of time. You may have been able to collect time as well, but other details related to this early feature have yet to be found.
  • The second shot shows a level nowhere to be found in the final product. While Scratchy appears to bear a weapon similarly to the final, the conveyor belts and the rope-chair pulley he sits in makes this a mystery. The sprite of Bart shown is only a guess at this tying to the Windy World or just being a different level entirely.
  • If you look closely at the first shot, there's an alarm clock in place of the fan on Bart's desk.
  • Again, if you look closely at the second shot, the viruses appear cross-eyed, unlike the final.

  • Again, the mysterious clocks are present at the top.
  • The "Fact File" chart from the magazine states this build is 60% complete, and oddly that this game was in the sports genre. It also states the release date was originally in June, suggesting it was delayed until October.
  • Some odd things are mentioned by the magazine that point to other possible differences or is just misinformation: The magazine says the Indiana Bart level is a "spy/action sequence" where you could "find clues to your survival"; It says the level we know now as the bloodstream was a toxic lake that created Blinky the three-eyed fish; The old ladies were armed with canes. They only blow kisses at you in the final, so it's possible she was originally meant to attack you.
  • The lower-left shot shows Indiana Bart wearing an outfit that closer resembles Indiana Jones' excursion outfit.
