Proto:Call of Duty: Black Ops II/t6 greenlight mp
This is a sub-page of Proto:Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
This article is a work in progress. ...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes. |
t6_greenlight_mp (November 15th, 2011) of Call of Duty: Black Ops II is the earliest currently released build of Black Ops II. This build is extremely early in the development cycle, using a lot of placeholder assets as stand-ins for new ones. All logos in this build use the Black Ops logo as the new one did not exist as of this builds compilation date. This build only contains two multiplayer maps: "Aftermath" (mp_la) and "Yemen" (mp_socotra).

Campaign Menu
A menu for the Campaign Mode exists in this multiplayer-only build, however, none of the maps listed can be loaded. The menu has a very early version of the campaign's Create-a-Class.
Weapons
Cut Weapons
Baseweapon
A test weapon, using the Modern Warfare 3 M4A1 model. It is (presumably) an evolution of the 10-round, finger-gun "Default Weapon", also used for testing purposes. Baseweapon can also have various attachments attached to it.
Desert Tactical (DTSRS)
The cut DTSRS sniper rifle can be used in this prototype and is called "Desert Tactical". Its animations are reused from Black Ops's L96A1.
RX4 Storm
The RX4 Storm can be used in this prototype, as it is able to be equipped in Create-a-Class. The final game only has leftover icons.
M61 Vulcan
A handheld version of the real-life M61 Vulcan minigun. Uses the Black Ops Death Machine model as a placeholder.
NS2000
A version of the real-life "NeoStead 2000" shotgun that functions identically to the "China Lake" from the first Black Ops, firing two grenades before being reloaded. Its model is very unfinished and the weapon's two barrels are above it, for some reason.

- The MSMC is called "Mini INSAS" and uses the Black Ops Uzi model.
- The Chicom CQB is called "QCW-05" and is full-auto rather than 3-round burst fire in multiplayer.

Shotguns
- The R870 MCS uses the Black Ops Stakeout model.

LMGs
- The LSAT lacks the ammo counter on its ammo box.
- The QBB LSW is called "QBB-95" and uses the Black Ops HK21 model.
