This is a sub-page of Proto:Chicken Run (PlayStation, Windows, Dreamcast).

A build dated a little close to a month after the first one, biggest addition is that it actually has a few playable segments (although very early so the most you can do is just walk around, movements vary from each playable segment)

Using another version of the Debug Test menu you can either view unfinished character models, a few playable levels or view a trailer for the movie.

Character Model Viewer

Where you can view models ranging from characters to props, mostly characters.

To rotate the camera just move the Left Analog Stick, to zoom the camera in and out just use the Right Analog Stick, there are controls to change animations (L & R) but it doesn't seem to change animations, though it shows the animation count going up but it visually does nothing.

Ginger

Same model used in the Jan, 18th build, with miscolored comb and all.

Alternate Ginger Model

There's another Ginger model similar to the one used but this time with completely different textures and modeled eyes. For some reason the extra textures aren't in the files of this build but in the original Jan, 18th build even though the model wasn't present in the files.

There are only three textures, an eye texture, alternate chest feathers and a completely different tail feather texture.

Rocky

Same model from the Jan, 18th build but this time with a few textures, still missing a few though.

Mrs. Tweedy

Her model is slightly similar to the final model, only has a few changes.

  • Her hands are rotated 90 degrees
  • The slight UV mapping mess up on the final model's left arm isn't here
  • The legs are further apart then the final model

Mr. Tweedy

His model is really close to his final model, just slightly lower poly.

  • Missing extra vertices at the elbow, knees and boots
  • Some verts are just moved slightly

Dog

The Dog model is physically close to the final model, only difference is the textures.

  • Model has less texture detail compared to the final model.

Levels

Coop Ext MkII Level, Daytime Coops, Interior, Fence and Fredtest all crash the game so they're unplayable.


Nighttime Coops

One of the only three playable things here, it's all just a simple walkaround thing with nothing to do. Only things you can do are walk and move the camera with the two shoulder buttons.

Station

An early version of the Egg Laying minigame although with no chickens so you can't really do anything, you can move stations to four different positions with the shoulder buttons, pressing X brings up a little rectangle in the hud but really does nothing. There's a 30 second timer but once it ends a "Time Up!" pop-up appears but nothing else happens.

Stilts

An early version of the Act 1 escape where the chickens build a giant mannequin to escape, though for now all there is to it is just two wires and chicken coops with no collision. You can press the shoulder buttons alternatively to move around but that's it, if you do it long enough you can just walk off the map.
