A ROM with a file date of 15 April 2004 was uploaded to Hidden Palace in July 2023.

Gameplay

After startup the game will immediately go to a platforming level, specifically an early version of the first electrical appliances shop stage. The level has soldier enemies, and the background sprite is the same one used in the February 24 prototype. The geometry consists of colored blocks: purple blocks are collision, light grey blocks are platforms, and red blocks are usually background, but the taller ones are collision.

When the game starts, the player character will be Stitch accompanied by Yang. The Select button will switch the player character to Lilo and vice versa, and the L button will switch the accompanying experiment. Stitch's available experiments are Yang, Splodyhead, Slugger and Yaarp, while Lilo's are Slushy, Holio, Richter and Sparky. While playing as Stitch, the R button will make the experiment attack (except Slugger), but while playing as Lilo it will switch between her and the experiment as the player character. When playing as Lilo's experiment, A will make it attack, although the soldiers will not take damage, unlike with Stitch's experiments. Whenever the character is switched, the previous character's experiment will still be present, and Lilo's experiment will not appear until R is pressed.

Like in the February 24 prototype and the final game, the A button is shoot, B is jump and Up+A will shoot upwards, although unlike the older prototype, Lilo cannot shoot. The crouching ability is available in this build, and the player characters have all their main animations. At the bottom right of the screen is a timer, however nothing will happen when it runs out. The Start button will pause the game, but this just consists of a white screen.

The level has a block that can be pushed over an edge, but it doesn't appear to serve any purpose. At the end of the level is an invisible wall, making stage impossible to complete. Some of the soldier animations have noticeably early sprite designs.

There are a lot of visual glitches, usually caused by repeatedly switching the player character and experiment. If the player character keeps being switched, it will cause an increasing number of overlapping Yang sprites to appear on-screen, and the game will experience slowdown, with some additional visual glitches involving the soldiers.

Main Menu

The only way to reach the main menu is to run out of lives. If the game is left at the menu, it will go to the start screen, revealing an early title of Lilo & Stitch in "Hamsterviel's Revenge!". If the start screen is left for several seconds, it will go to a placeholder screen with the text "INTRO CUT SCENE NOT DONE YET".

The main menu notably has a Multiplayer option not present in the final game, however selecting this will simply return back to the menu after a fade out.

Options

The menu uses an early design, but the available options are the same as the final game.

Extras

The menu has the options of "Hall of Fame", "Experipedia", "Mini-Cartoons" and "Credits". Selecting "Hall of Fame" will go to a page which says "NOT DONE YET". Selecting "Experipedia" and "Mini-Cartoons" will do nothing, and selecting "Credits" will return to the Extras menu after a fade out.

Single Player

Single Player will go to an early load/create save file screen. While the final game allows the player to choose a character icon, this build asks for their initials.

Once a save has been chosen, the game will produce a level select with a cheat menu accessible with L or R. Although only "Docks" can be selected initially, going to the cheat menu then returning will make other stages available. However, all selectable levels except "BUGGY TEST" (documented further down) will go to the same platformer level from the game's startup. Although a menu gives a choice of "Quest Play" or "Score Attack", this does not make any changes to gameplay.

The cheat menu has several options, although they do not appear to do anything.

BUGGY TEST

"BUGGY TEST" can be played using the level select and is the only option which won't lead to the prototype's standard platform level. It is an early version of the game's first driving stage. The buggy and track use early designs and Stitch is not visible, while much of the HUD is absent. It functions in the same way as the final game, and includes the soldiers which fly about the stage shooting at the player. Like in the final game, they can be defeated by using the buggy's gun. The track layout is also identical to the final game.

Completing the level will take the player to the platforming level from the game's startup.
