"Indev", standing for "In Development" was a development for Minecraft that lasted from December 23, 2009 to February 23, 2010; costing €5 or $8, this version introduced many features into the game including tools, torchs, fire, and crafting.
It is also the home to several strange oddities that were eventually removed.
