In the September 9th 2020 Nintendo leak, within the TWLIPL source code, yet another early System Settings app was found, predating SDK 6291. The main System Menu was barely completed at this point, so to help for that, some extra functions were added.
- L and R let you change the brightness level.
- Pressing START resets the unit and boots into a cartridge in Slot-1 if one is found.
Some options that made its way into the final version are here, and others are half baked, all with a basic looking menu.

Features
The features here are somewhat lacking.
- Language lets you change your language based on 3 options by default. This is the same 3 languages that are only available on US systems.
- Date & Time changes the date and time.
- User Information lets you change your nickname, birthday, color and personal message.
- Touch Panel lets you calibrate the touch screen. Instead of poking 4 targets to test the screen afterwards, you can drag a target by holding the touch screen.
- Country changes your console's country.
- Parental Control lets you restrict what games you can play with a pincode. Many features here are unfinished.
- You can only pick the ESRB for organization.
- The target age can be changed up to 31.
- You can set up to 32 different secret questions.
- Page 3 has no settings at all.
