A fairly late demo of Paper Mario RPG appeared on three Gekkan Nintendo Tentou demo discs released across the summer of 2004.
While no actual build date is present, evidence in the file c_bomt_n points to it having been compiled on May 29, 2004. In the demo, this file has a timestamp of May 29th at 5:40 PM. The corresponding final file is dated just 34 minutes later, at 6:14 PM. This also happens to be the earliest file date in the final game that doesn't also appear in the demo.
