So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

This is a sub-page of Proto:Phantom Brave (PlayStation 2).

An early English localization prototype of Phantom Brave dated June 10th, 2004 was released by Hidden Palace on March 20th, 2021 as part of Project Deluge.

Hmmm...
To do:
A lot of differences in general, different/incomplete localization, etc.

Debug Mode

A debug mode can be enabled and disabled by holding X, then pressing L3 on controller 2 at any point after the initial loading screen. You will hear a confirmation sound each time this is toggled. This functionality is also available in the retail versions, but requires codes to be enabled there.

Also of note is that this build's debug mode is more locked down than either the Japanese and final US versions of the game, with, for example, some in-game debug menu options being disabled.

The extended menu is still positioned as it is in the Japanese version, while the "Settings" option is called "Options".

The options "Reload Script" and "Chr. Test", called "Reload a script" and "Character Test" in the retail version, are disabled in this build. The menu is also positioned lower on the screen.
