Berry Trees

Worth noting is that in the demo, Route 37 only features one berry tree, which sprouts a Bitter Berry, as opposed to three trees which each sprout a Red, Blue, and Black Apricorn respectively. Meanwhile, in Kanto, the berry trees on Route 1, 2, 8, and 11, as well as Pewter City and Fuchsia City are all missing. In comparison, this build features an exclusive berry tree in the Lake of Rage, this one sprouting a Burnt Berry.

Extra Items

For the various hidden items exclusive to the demo. Worth noting is that the hidden Full Heal in the first floor of the Ice Path can't actually be collected. This is due to it being placed on the tile you land on after slipping on the ice, with no way to go forward and turn around. Similarly, the Iron on Route 4 is completely unreachable in this build, given how the stairs leading to it are nowhere to be found here.

A few extra itemballs can also be found in the demo:

  • Blackthorn City. A Max Elixer itemball right beside the entrance to the Ice Path.
  • Route 26. A Dire Hit itemball south of Psychic Richard.
  • Mt.Silver 2F (Item Room). A TM26 itemball right beside the Full Restore. In the final games, that TM is instead found on Victory Road.
