This is a sub-page of Proto:Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis).
The 0608 Build of Knuckles in Sonic 2 is the third known build of the game.
This prototype, along with the rest builds except the 0524 prototype, is a dump of the Sonic & Knuckles UPMEM chip. To play it, it must be attached to the beginning of a Sonic 2 ROM. Merging these two ROMs emulates the use of Lock-On Technology. The 0524 prototype is the only prototype that can be played individually.
Differences
To access level select, you must input the code, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, and Start.
