A prototype of Spelunky for Xbox 360 which predates the final build by almost three months.

General Differences

  • All text in menus is glitched and unreadable.
  • Player dropping an item shows a throw animation.
  • The ingame HUD is slightly offset.
  • Emeralds look more squished.

  • The ending is missing all the palm trees and rocks on the ground.

Music

There are 7 less music tracks in this prototype compared to the final. Some tracks have slight differences:

This version is an "extended mix", being twice as long as the original and featuring drums later in the track.
