A prototype build of the game was found and dumped on April 17, 2021 as part of the Project Deluge release. dated January 22, 1999, 17 days before the final Japanese build.

Gameplay Difference

When in COOL Mode, hold down L2 + R2 and press either one of the Triangle, Circle, X, Square, L, or R buttons to activate Fever Mode.

General

  • Many cutscenes have slightly different timing, camera angles or textures.

LOGO.IKI

Proto Final

The NanaOn-Sha logo has a different animation, There is no kaleidoscope effect at the start, revealing that is actually 3 layers of a lowercase "n" and the camera movement is a bit different.
