Save Data
Save data in this prototype is stored in the registry, located at HKEY_USERS\S-[Security Key]_Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\2dboy\goo\. Profiles store their save information in a single registry key and use the following format:
[Number of Worlds completed],[Next Level Name],[Number of Levels unlocked],[Next World Name], [Unlocked Level Name],[Goos collected],... [Sandbox Tower data]
The sandbox tower data format appears to be the same as in the final game.
Bugs
- Collecting goo product crashes the game, which prevents unlocking any levels after Jaw Bridge
- Save data refuses to load if it is 1024 characters or longer
- The 'deadly' parameter on geometry does not work
