Different demo?

Is this article about the Lego Racers demo in general? The opening makes it seem like the demo Almogzxp uploaded is different from the regular demo released on Lego Media's website and on various Lego Software demo discs (e: also a PSX demo version on certain demo discs, at least in the UK) - if not it should probably be reworded and moved from the Proto: namespace. --Ringtail Raider (talk) 22:04, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

Okay, it's been about a year so I will once again ask: how is a demo the same as a prototype build? If they do count shouldn't there be a lot more demos with their own pages on here? There's also a PlayStation demo version of this game included on some demo discs. --Ringtail Raider (talk) 15:37, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
Anything that isn't release is classified as a prototype. The original page was moved once the march 31 1998 was discovered so that the original title can be generalized (also I messed up moving the titles smh). OverFloyd Inbox 📩 16:55, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
Don't demos kinda count as a released thing since they were published for people to sample the game? Are there other pages on here for demos treated like this? Anyway if demos do count it might be worth checking out the PSX demo on Official UK PSM Euro Demo 50. It has a file date of August 3, I'm not as familiar with the PSX version so idk if it has any notable differences from that or if it's more like the final PSX version or the 1999 PC one. It has even less features than this demo though. --Ringtail Raider (talk) 22:38, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
They're treated as prototypes on here, since they're not the final version of the game anyways, see Proto:Pizza Tower for example, that had many demos released before release. Anyway, I'm not familiar with the PSX version either, so yeah. OverFloyd Inbox 📩 13:16, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
