Name Removal

Yo, why were the mentions of the names for the fire starter stages 1 and 2 being similar to the names of the final cyndaquil line removed? They kept that motif even as they changed the designs themselves; I think that bears some mention. The preceding unsigned comment was added by SystemsReady (talk • contribs)

Unfinished revamp

I was supposed to entirely overhaul this article, but, unfortunately, I never got around to finish doing it. Here's a draft of the work that I began...

The game's Pokémon back and front sprites on this demo differ from those on the final release, with the final release ones often seeming to be redrawn versions of this demo's ones. They are shown side by side below. They were based on the sprites of the Japanese release of Pokémon Blue, which was developed simultaneously and completed first. In that manner, several front sprites on this demo are identical to those of Blue, while the remaining sprites seem new. In the final release, some of these new sprites, front ones, are instead sprites identical to those on Blue. The back sprites on Blue (all new on this demo) were ones that had been previously used. Several of this demo's back sprites are seemingly based on the Pokémon poses of the front sprites, from Blue.

Oh well, maybe one day I'll get back to this. Also, it may seem like a heck of a mess, but it's actually really good information. The preceding unsigned comment was added by The Phenomenon (talk • contribs)
