Beyond R1-1 and R1-2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdrVpebFOqc This video by Fred Bronze shows that there are some things beyond the two levels in this build, including how to access levels beyond R1-1 and R1-2. In this video, it shows what appear to be somewhat early versions of the Collision Chaos 2 glass bumpers. There could be more levels accessed via doing this type of thing. Look into it. William0918 (talk)

There are no actual levels past act 2, but there is existing code created for Collision Chaos for handling bumper collision (which are embedded in the stage itself are are not actual objects). The function checks if the zone ID is 2 (which was Collision Chaos' ID at the time before anything remotely related to R2 was completely taken out of the code), and if it is, then it activates the collision checks. 2-Player Mode?

There seems to be remnants of a 2-player mode in this build. Some strange stuff can happen with the other Sonic. William0918 (talk)

This is a debug feature that's in several of the prototypes. In later builds, it activates debug mode as well. PixoPoxo (talk) 19:34, 27 October 2019 (EDT)
How would something like this be a debug feature? I did hear that 2-player was planned for the game. William0918 (talk)

Unused sprites

Just doing a cursory glance at the track 1 binary, there are a few unused Sonic sprites in there, including the greyscale Sonic 1 death sprite. There are also sprites for Sonic hanging as in Wacky Workbench, and the mini Sonic from Metallic Madness is in there too. PixoPoxo (talk) 19:40, 27 October 2019 (EDT)

Is there more than just those however? William0918 (talk)
There are, I looked at the thread on Sonic Retro and people have found some stuff: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/637490570964500496/638087245592657981/unknown.png https://www.spriters-resource.com/genesis_32x_scd/soniccdprototype/sheet/122793/ https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/637490570964500496/638133342738448426/unknown.png https://i.imgur.com/QaClT9p.png https://i.imgur.com/wOg8Cx2.png

There's also some stuff that was changed for the final. For example, the diagonal springs: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/774086632185528351/864690142676516904/unknown.png --Don't try pressing it, now. Techokami (talk) 02:12, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

Maps have been ripped

Earlier today, I ripped the maps. If someone who has actual free time can put them up here, please do. https://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?posts/948824/ -- Novedicus (talk) 23:17, 27 October 2019 (EDT)

I plan on doing this at some point. PixoPoxo (talk) 00:11, 31 October 2019 (EDT)

Unused objects

This is more of a reminder to myself but some unused objects have been found. 3 are notable: one is a spinning/tilting platform object that has had graphics found for it already, another is similar to swinging platforms in Marble Zone from Sonic 1, and another is really unusual and adjusts the level layout. Videos and other things about them coming soon. PixoPoxo (talk) 00:10, 31 October 2019 (EDT)

More Sonic unused sprites

Not kidding, There's to much Sonic sprites in the prototype. What if they discovered the v0.00, which it was a REAL Yussei build. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Justcool101 (talk • contribs)

I'm not sure what you mean, but this is definitely a match for the Yuusei build, considering it has the word Yuusei written on the disc. --Hwd45 (talk) 04:59, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
