This is a sub-page of Sonic Robo Blast 2/Archived Versions.

Hmmm...
To do:
Turn many of the pictures here into GIFs.

Given that this version was made 45 days after development started, it's obviously very primitive and has LOTS of Doom content still in it.

Unused Objects

These objects were presumably meant to act like the 10 and 25 ring monitors present in the Christmas Test demo and onwards, however they do not do anything and have no animations.

Despite this, there are graphics present in the WAD file for the monitors displaying static and breaking.

Unused Graphics

Unused Sonic Waiting Animation

Since Sonic doesn't have a waiting animation in this version, so these sprites never get used. These, however, do get used in the Christmas Test demo and the Early 2000 Build.

Unused Animal Sprites

There are no enemies in this version that release badniks upon defeat, however there is unused code for this function.

Source Code Zone Order

In the DSTRINGS.C file of the Halloween Test v1.0 source code, a list of planned zone names can be found.

Halloween v1.32 Patch

In September 2000, a patch was created for the Halloween Test demo that added a second level and a 32-bit version, allowing the game to be played on modern versions of Windows.
