The credits can be reached by holding 0 on either controller when the game is on the title screen.

Birth Announcement
A birth announcement(?!) can be reached by holding 1 on the left controller and 4 on the right controller, then pressing Reset on the console. This screen acts like the main menu too, so pressing 1 through 3 will still correspond to the options there.
