Prototype

Just a reminder a few years ago a beta early version was found on a Gamer's Edge Sampler disk. One of the more notable things it included is a cutscene for the story page. -HsienKo 22:16, 30 July 2012 (EDT)

Possible unused sprites?

While looking around the sprites for the first 3 Commander Keen games I noticed some sprites I had never seen in the game. Maybe someone else has?


First thing I found on the tileset for episode 1 is this sprite of Keen with a crushed head. [1]

Then there were 4 sprites of what seems to be extra frames of the Id Software logo and the yorp statue crossed out. [2] [3] [4] [5]

There was a sprite of Keen riding the Bean-With-Bacon Megarocket. [6]

As for episode 2, the only thing I could find was a sprite with the word "YAWN". [7]

And finally for episode 3 there's this sprite of Mortimer with a shocked expression. [8]

Those were all the sprites I've never seen before and that are probably unused in the first Commander Keen trilogy. If you've seen any of the sprites I mentioned please do let me know. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by EGAdeline (talk • contribs)
