Should updated content be reflected in the base article?

With the plethora of updates, especially the major DLCs and the Royal Edition release, changing a lot of things that makes a lot of what's currently in the article obsolete, I'm wondering what would be the best way to track these things. For instance, the fact that swimming has been properly implemented into the game, Altissia's cityscape being more fully used in Ignis' DLC, the boat mechanics, etc. Should the unused content be marked as obsoleted by updates, or should they be moved to a "previous versions" subpage? -Wohdin (talk) 01:50, 14 June 2018 (EDT)
