Developer?

Sega Retro claims that Sega AM1 was behind the development of Moonwalker's arcade port. While Sega Retro is usually good about their sources, and AM1 being behind it makes sense, as they made other notable Beat 'em Ups around the same time (Alien Storm, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, etc), I couldn't find anything linking AM1 to this particular game.
