2-player mode

At ~00059C50, there are graphics for a "Vs 2P" and "Vs. M" mode, but the menus only display "vs. COM" as an option on my copy. The "2P" graphics at 00043570 are definitely used in the "Kon-Kon" game mode vs. the CPU. Options for other players do not appear in the menus normally, but 2-player and online features in the system are frequently hidden behind bootup button codes. I plan to look for manual scans or archived websites to see if 2p functions are documented, then if that fails, attempt to brute-force combos on hardware with some standard bootup codes. I lack the hardware to verify whether the function is locked behind sensing a link cable at this time. Schottenjaeger (talk) 21:46, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
