Level Select

What incredible timing, I was just looking into this game last night and the night before. In the ROM (Speedy Gonzales - Cheeze Cat-astrophe (A) [!].bin, SHA-1=12bb0d838c675b34cecc9041d3560fe35145ec39), change the word at 0x00018702 from 0001 to 0000. Use up and down to change the level and the 'A' button to select. Not all the levels/sequences work. I assume there is a key combo to get to the level select screen. I haven't looked yet. I went through all the direct references to address 0xffe48c, which stores the value overwritten at 0x018702. It all ends up either in the place Pincus mentioned, or the error handler I added, or some menu entries that reload the menu. The conditional overwrite is pretty telling that it would be the intended way to activate the menu, given that there's also a password specifically to load world 1.
