Models
I'm interested in trying to expand this page. The PC version has a lot of files just laying around, but I have no idea how to open them. They are all .oct files. Apparently, .oct files have different uses. One is a Radiance Octree 3D scene, one is some sort of Music file, and one is "optical coherence tomography." None of these would be for a generic data format, does anyone else know of any software that could help with this? --MysticTortoise - Finding unused things in games no one cares about. - The OCT files are model files that the game uses. This is also the model file format that is used for Disney Infinity. There's a tool on the Disney Infinity Gamebanana page that can extract these models, and theres a possibility it may work with this game. https://gamebanana.com/tools/8145 --Xanderrock98 (talk) 16:50, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
- The file I just sent doesn't work with the Toy Story 3 OCT files unfortunately, though I did find one that does work with the Toy Story 3 OCT files https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=101169#p101169 it only works with the PC files unfortunately. --Xanderrock98 (talk) 22:30, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
Separating the PC and Wii versions from this page
The Wii version of this game has less content in the Toybox mode from the other console releases due to the limited power of the Wii, and the PC version is for some reason a port of the Wii version. I'm also pretty sure the Wii version has lower resolution models and textures. Should these versions be made separate because of this? --Xanderrock98 (talk) 16:52, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
