This game was stuffed away in a cardboard box and found 30 years later in a garage
This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually been released.
So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The California Raisins: The Grape Escape is a 1990 title that received a fair amount of coverage prior to its cancellation. The game was to be published by Capcom USA, and seems to take some inspiration from Mega Man (in that the levels can be played in any order) and DuckTales (in that the levels are filled with secrets and branching paths).

A prototype cartridge was found in early 2003, with the ROM later distributed online. A second prototype has since been dumped and released.

Hmmm...
To do:
Compare the two prototypes.
