Geralt's Early Swords & Scabbard
In much of the promotional material for The Witcher 3, Geralt is shown carrying uniquely-designed steel and silver swords, as well as a crosshatched scabbard, items not accessible to the player in the final game. As of game version 4.01 these swords are officially accessible in the game and can be purchased from the Hierarch Square armorer in Novigrad(aka the Top Notch Swords guy).

Two points of interest regarding this equipment:
- The early Silver Sword scabbard was repurposed as part of the Cat School armour set.
- The early Steel Sword was repurposed as a weapon wielded by one of the Eternal Fire guards who accompanies Tamara to Crookback Bog in order to find her mother.
