Tiles of Fate serves as additional proof that many bootleg NES game makers had an unhealthy obsession with Mahjong.

Level Select

Both the AVE and Hacker releases have different ways to get into the level select.

Regional Differences

The game was released as Zhan Guo Si Chuan Sheng. Besides the title screen, it's pretty much the same as the US version. However, the Japanese version is a complete reskin.

The Japanese version appears to have the same levels. It has a little intro before transitioning to the title screen.

The music was completely redone. The staff credits at the end of the game were also removed.
