Tiny The Mole/Levels/Easy
This is a sub-page of Tiny The Mole/Levels.
This category of levels is interesting. It's a mix of enemy demonstrations and some puzzle ideas.
Contents
Level 1
This set of levels is currently in use to demonstrate how the enemies work and to suggest some puzzle ideas.
As the hint states, most of the levels in this category are used to showcase enemies.
This level demonstrates the Malicious Mole.
Malicious Mole's sprites are the same as Tiny's, except the eyes are red. It can move up, down, left and right.
Level 2
This level demonstrates the Vagrant Vole.
The Vagrant Mole is pretty much the same as the Malicious Mole, except the eyes are yellow amd they charge at you when spotted.
Level 3
This level demonstrates the Bomb Beetle.
Easily the most intersting enemy out of all of them. They use Bob-Omb sprites, which seem to be ripped from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time! There are three types of beetles; blue, green and red. The blue Bomb Beetles are the slowest, the green ones are slightly faster and the red ones are the fastest. When killed, they explode in a cross pattern, similar to the bombs in Bomberman. A bug spray power-up appears in this level, which doubles your movement speed and grants invincibility. Getting blown up by a beetle reveals a unique charred sprite.
This is also one of the only levels where you can destroy Green Gems. If you do, this message pops up:
Ooops! You have destroyed a green gem. The level cannot be finished now. If you want, you can pause the game and choose to restart the level but this will cost you one life.
Level 4
This level demonstrates the Wicked Wasp.
The Wicked Wasp is similar to the Vagrant Mole, in the sense that it follows you when spotted. However, unlike the Vagrant Mole, this enemy follows you wherever you go. The only way to escape it is by outrunning it. There is also a portal that takes you inside of the boxed area, but since it's blocked by the Malicious Mole and the bug spray, it's impossible to go in.
Level 5
The level demonstrates the Mean Mice.
Yet another enemy with placeholder Tiny sprites, this time with green eyes. These mice are pretty much the same as the other moles, except they stick to walls.
Level 6
This level demonstrates the Spiders.
A spider enemy that guards a certain block. It periodically lunges out.
Level 7
Use Jr to plug the gap so Tiny can get the boulder to where he needs to use it.
This level introduces a new character: Jr. Jr is a small mole, who (once again, uses Tiny's sprites) is always asleep in the beginning of levels. He can be woken up by pressing X next to him. He's the same as Tiny, except, well tiny. He has a unique exit that only he can use.
For some reason, when defeating any enemy (except the Bomb Beetles), Pac-Man's iconic death animation and sound effect play.
Level 8
Use the unique abilities of each character to solve this puzzle.
A pretty simple level where you have to go through the gap in the wall as Jr to get rid of the dirt blocks.
Level 9
Stop the boulders blocking your return by leaving obstacles in place in the vertical tunnels.
Once again, a pretty simple stage where you have to leave 1 gem and 1 dirt block in order to not block the exit.
Level 10
Blow up the Bomb Beetle at the right time to smash the fragile wall.
Yet another simple stage where you have to drop the rock on the Bomb Beetle at the right time to smash a fragile wall.
Level 11
Free the Bomb Beetle and then position the rock to direct it down to the fragile wall.
Pretty much the same idea as the last level, but a bit more difficult.
Level 12
Plan you approach to collecting the gems carefully. It's easy to trap them in.
The hardest level out of all of them. As the hint states, it's really easy to trap the gems.
Level 13
Get to Jr quickly before the Mean Mouse does.
The last unique level in the game. You have to rush to Jr before the Mean Mouse gets to him.
Level 14-Hard 30
