So, the version that was in MAME was a prototype the whole time. Update article as necessary, and make a prototype page.

Chrono Soldier is a Commando-style shoot-'em-up, though here there's less shooting and more bomb launching and punching.

Lots of punching, actually.

There's an early copy of the title screen/HUD graphics in the graphics ROM. Most of the tiles are the same, but the Sega logo is definitely different. The final version has a unique, smaller Sega logo.

The second difference is in the bomb HUD graphic. The early graphic is a bit too large, so the orange outline doesn't cover the whole bomb. The final bomb graphic had to be shrunk a bit to fix that little issue, and a little color was added at the base.
