Debug Menu

Acactussayswhat?
Please elaborate.
Having more detail is always a good thing.

A debug menu is still present in the game and allows flag editing, getting all items (ITEM), among other options. To access it, use the Action Replay code for your version on start-up, and press Start to toggle it on and off. Up and Down move the cursor up and down. Left and Right scroll through the values for the current option. A sets or increases a value, while B removes or decreases the value (depending on the option).

Unused Rooms

Besides lots of placeholder screens for items that weren't implemented, the game has a number of unused areas which can be accessed with the Locate option in the debug menu.

Touch Detective Room56.png

Room 56
The Pastry Shop during Mackenzie's dream. It's impossible to get in there during this time since the door is always locked. Some Japanese dialogue also pops up on screen upon access. The text popup can be disabled by setting flag no. 69 to "ON", but is reenabled again upon subsequent visits to the room.

Touch Detective Room57.png

Room 57
The Fortune Teller area during Mackenzie's dream. Like the above room, it's not possible to visit the fortune teller at that point. The text popup can be disabled by setting flag no. 69 to "ON", but is reenabled again upon subsequent visits to the room.

Touch Detective Room66.png

Room 66
An unused cutscene with Chloe and Penelope as silhouettes in the Planetarium. The room's unlit, and not much can be done after the cutscene finishes. Collision with walls will be disabled if either room 56 or 57 has been accessed via the debug menu.

Room 67
The Space Theather, featuring the same silhouettes of Chloe and Penelope from room 66. They can be spoken to, after which they both head to the left and right sides of the room. The room's unlit, and none of the doors work. Like room 66, collision with walls will be disabled if either room 56 or 57 has been accessed via the debug menu.

Unused Text

The office room before selecting a episode has two unused monologues that can be seen by forcing Mackenzie's portrait to appear. When entering the room with the code active "Use phone to select episode." will be shown, while "Use the phone..." will be shown when attempting to go to the bonus episode before having completed the first case.

Use the below Action Replay codes to make Mackenzie's portrait always appear in the office room:
