Shown in the November 1999 issue of Shogakukan Magazine are a few unobscured screenshots shown in magazines published earlier that year.[1] Interestingly, while Cherrygrove City’s layout here appears to have been finalized, the woman NPC was moved significantly to the left, despite the placement seen in the June builds matching the one from the final game. It’s then possible they tried relocating this NPC, only to then put her back in her original spot. Still regarding this NPC, while her dress is still red instead of blue her dialogue is the same as in the final games.
