Demo Mode/Missions

Unused Script Functionality

Features that the Bonus Game/level/mission scripting system support, that go unused by the game.

Objectives/Conditions

Objectives set the goal during a mission stage.

  • loadvehicle: Doesn't appear to work. Probably related to the unused SetVehicleToLoad function. The game loads vehicles prior to beginning a mission.

Conditions define failure states during a mission stage.

  • carryingspcollectible: Short for "carrying stateprop collectible". Functions the same as the used keepbarrel condition, except it doesn't support jumping backwards/forwards in the mission on barrel drop, nor does it fail the mission on this event.
  • getcollectibles: Doesn't appear to work.
  • hitandruncought: Doesn't appear to work.
  • invalid: Doesn't appear to work.
  • leaveinterior: Locks all controls (including pause) on completing a stage, if the player left an interior during the stage.
  • notabducted: Fails the mission if the player character touches the death trigger at the top of the UFO beam in Level 7. Does not display its unused mission fail hints.
  • outofbounds: Fails the mission if the player enters a death trigger. Displays its unused mission fail hints.
