The Wii U firmware versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 were included with launch consoles, with any differences between one another being very minor (so much so that they're grouped together on Nintendo's official website.) These versions have little documentation, and for good reason, given that anyone who got a Wii U around launch couldn't use most system applets and was prompted to update anytime they tried to. That being said, there are several differences between 1.0.X and every version afterward.

To do: add them. search every single possible source, what little documentation there is, up and down for ALL the differences, including: different profile selection; empty warawara plaza; exactly WHAT applets were not usable; misc. things i may not have noticed yet
