To:mariomadproductions I think it was single player... To:mariomadproductions Okay. To:mariomadproductions well, the things I lost but it was nothing really big. It was just a "port" of the levels that were kind of working to the multiplayer levels. I got some problems with them so I tried to figure out the things then came that crash....so...yeah To:mariomadproductions I'll try to set those things, on the other hand, if you have the original level hack as it was at the start of the project, we could start it all...in the mean time I'll try to restore that file and look for the multiplayer possibilities To:mariomadproductions Okay, Bad News. The backup just finished and all I got from the updated rom was a corrupted 1kb file, I tried to open it with NSMBe, and it crashed the program.....so yeah..... To:mariomadproductions that is exactly what I'm trying to backup right now..... To:mariomadproductions not much really, been dealing with computer crash and I found myself unable to test out the few things I made. but Actually the thing will be going on once I fixed my completely broken computer. Anyways, here's the plan, Making the Multiplayer levels, the main levels so you can play in a sort of co-op mode. Now there is a trouble. Since M.vs.L uses Sprites instead of 3D models, so the giant goomba may not work, and that's problematic. now for the levels well, we got 1-1 sorted out and the underground section might become a level on it's own...not sure about it... To:mariomadproductions okay, thanks To:mariomadproductions I'll try them, but can you send me a rom with the Castle As-is from your video, I would like to do some things on it, also, I looked for these unused object a week ago, I didn't found theme in the editor...I'll look To:mariomadproductions UPDATE: I will probably need your castle map because mine is plain empty, I've also tried to add the two unused sand level (one of them was present at E3) and I need to know how to put checkpoints. To:mariomadproductions I'm currently revising some sections of the castle (very hard work...) To:mariomadproductions OKAY! STOP! The level list was done this way =====================Level List=================== Note: multiplayer version available marked with a (*) Total Levels=6 Note: this is the final order: W1-1 : Grassland 1* W1-2 : Underground cave* W1-C: the solo castle W-3 : Desert* (additionnal but in the TRAILER: multiplayer castle another grassland) To:mariomadproductions I'm looking around things on 1-1 and I'll send you back the things To:mariomadproductions well, for the brick block they act like the normal brick blocks, only minimum super mario breakable, the conveyer belt section was a little longer but that's the spirit! To:mariomadproductions Okey so here's how ti worked: single player: 1-1 1-2(grassland 2) 1-castle Multiplayer (a hard part) multiplayer grassland 3 (contain same bonus/sublevel as singleplayer 1-1) desert level with whirpools (unused level in game data) multiplayer castle without a boss at the end To:mariomadproductions oh! and also, I lowered some parts in 1-1 'cause they were to hight To:mariomadproductions I'm gonna clarify two things here, for the time being the world 1-2 would be the underground level as a placeholder for a first release! (I'm trying to make the true w1-2) for the platofrming section, spikes on the floor, death traps, conveyer belt upper and upper and for finish iceblock /'till the platform where the video resume To:mariomadproductions just a double door like in the final, about the bonus level, on the way of accessing it, it was multiple ground-pounds, only Mega-Twomps can break them in one shot on the inside, it's a coin heaven with a fire flower. For the boss: about the hole, mario spawns in the hole the goomba appears in front of mario then grows, bowser jr. wasn't here! for the platform section, it's a mix of fix platforms and converyer belt! To:mariomadproductions I saw that there was a big mistake on my previous message about the boss music, to recap it IS the boss theme! Mario didn't had a backflip Mega Mario had the kick always as Super Mario and Fire Mario had it, =============================================== Control mapping of the time, Y is to run/shoot fireball, B is to jump A is to kick (only super/fire/mega) To:mariomadproductions the pipe didn't go anywere and the extra 1-up wasn't present, right after this block it goes on to the level To:mariomadproductions no maps at e3, it was pretty much like the multiplater level select screen! for the world 1-1, you stop it after the hidden one-up (but don't put it!) To:mariomadproductions sadly, I don't know how the program works, but I can give you those kind of info on the level pictures, but I can always try to learn! the sound effect didn't changed, and the boss music was the Bowser jr. battle theme To:mariomadproductions here's the modifications I made to your maps http://dl.dropbox.com/u/59483942/map%20fixes.rar To:mariomadproductions Here's the world course I took (as I remember it!) Overworld 1: the 2 vids shows the SAME level! so yeah that's it! underground: it's the right one on the video, the beta replica one lacks of a few things. overworld 2 : the second mushroom overworld that wasn't finished in the replica (I'll help finish it) castle: exactly this one. For the music it's like it is in the video! the underground, starman music were the same but Mega Mario didn't had any music for the time. I'll send you the pictures you linked to me with more indications in them To:mariomadproductions oops..sorry, forgot to talk about the desert levels, you see I played a regular world one course, on the level available (overworld-underground-overworld-castle) but there was 2 available desert levels, I didn't played them but I'm sure it was the unused one in the retail copy To:mariomadproductions there was the levels you had remade exept the rope one, and a castle, for the music, it was the regular theme without the "Ba!Ba!" in it. To:mariomadproductions the first one was later in dev. I recall playing the second one! For the lengh there was about the equivalent of SMB original World 1. To:mariomadproductions Also there was only one world in the demo, in this world there was this rope level thingy an underground and the two overworld you were trying to remake. (not sure about how to implement the kick animation and action...) To:mariomadproductions Just Ask! I'll be glad to help on the process
