hello! i get most of my info from the game itself. i decompiled terraria 1.2.1 a while ago and have been using that to get my info, although if you are interested, there is mentions (albeit only on an old revision) of the fake blizzard item on the item id wiki page (https://terraria.wiki.gg/index.php?title=Item_IDs&oldid=339914 item id 858). if you want to get older versions of the game, they are accessible through the steam console.
