The Japanese team player was changed to one of the USA team.

Team Selection Screen

The team selection screen was rearranged so that USA becomes the default team while switching Cuba and Japan so that the former ocuppies the place occupied by team USA in the Japanese version and the latter occupies the former's place.

The Famicom Cup was changed to the World Cup. Also, while not shown in the above pictures, the year accompanying the cup names was changed from 1986 to 1987 to reflect the international release dates.
