The 2008 Baroque is a roguelike JRPG. It's also a remake of the 1998 game of the same name.

Wow, they turned my Benadryl-fueled fever dreams into a video game. How neat!

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Finish documenting all discoveries in files.
  • Check for possible unused text in the game's "TALK" folder.
  • Check if there's any unused content in the PS2 version that isn't present in the Wii version.

Unused Objects

Hmmm...
To do:
Add a .gif showing the movement of the texture on the unused object.

Located inside DATA\files\DATA.BIN\M05\OBJ017.IGB is a sphere with a strange, white texture sliding along its surface. Said texture is shown below under the "Unused Graphics" section.

Unused Graphics

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if the images in the "OMAKE" folder are unused.

The texture for the unused object above. Seems to originate from the engine the game was created in.

Unused Sounds

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Upload the rest of the unused voicelines onto this page.
  • Translate the voicelines into English.

Inside the "SOUND_EN" folder, several Japanese voicelines for the protagonist's younger brother can be found, despite the fact they're never heard in-game.

One such voiceline is C00a_v03.dsp:
