Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War/Black Ops 4 Leftovers

This is a sub-page of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Black Ops Cold War was built heavily off its last iteration, and as such there are quite a few leftovers from Black Ops 4.

Zombies Modes

  • Black Ops 4 Featured quite a few zombie modes, many of which are still present in Black Ops Cold War

  • Rush, Gauntlet, TCM (Treyarch Custom Mutations, scrapped BO4 mode) and Tutorial are all left in Black Ops Cold War. However it seems none of them actually function, as loading into a game with the gamemode selected kicks you back to the lobby with an error.

Equipment

  • Some equipment from Black Ops 4 ended up in the final release of the game, and while not accessible through normal means, glitches can be used to get them into multiplayer.

The healing item used instead of health regen, the Stim (not to be confused with the one in the game), in use-able and acts the same way as it did in Black Ops 4, just that now the player also regenerates health at the same time, making this item extra powerful compared to it's use in Black Ops 4.

Weapons

  • There's a myriad of weapons from Black Ops 4 left in the final release, from both Multiplayer and Zombies.

Hand of Gaia - The Hand of Gaia from Black Ops 4's Ancient Evil is in the game but it does not seem to function as intended, as when fired it just plays the weapon pull out animation instead of firing.

Knife - the Knife from Black Ops 3, which was also left in Black Ops 4, ended up in Black Ops Cold War. However the animations for the knife (and the majority of these weapons) are broken, as the animation skeleton changed between BO4 and CW.

GKS - The GKS SMG appeared in early builds as a placeholder for a weapon later released during Cold War's Season content. It has crystals from a reactive stage of the Black Ops 4 "Dark Matter" camo on the side of it. It also shares the same fate as the Knife with it having broken animations.
