A consolized offshoot of the Amiga 1200 computer, the Amiga CD32 was Commodore's last gasp. It sold decently in Europe, outselling the Sega CD in the UK during its Christmas launch, but it wasn't enough by itself, and a legal block on importing units into the US due to an unpaid patent royalty bill sealed the system's - and Commodore's - fate.
