A former subsidiary of Konami based in Redwood City, California, formed in 1997 after the consumer software team from the Chicago branch broke off.
In 2001, a new studio based in Honolulu, Hawaii was opened (KCEA Honolulu Studio). While the original Redwood City studio had since closed down, the Honolulu one remained and later became Konami Computer Entertainment Hawaii.
